Set within the city, this three level home feels remarkably removed from its urban surroundings. The interiors build on this sense of escape, opening themselves to nature and carrying the expanse of the outdoors into the home. At its core, the central courtyard draws the different spaces together through connecting and axial views, extending towards the surrounding greenery and views of the zoo. The tea veranda and generous terrace further blur the experience of inside and out. Warm neutral tones with considered punches of colour form the material palette, complemented by the natural setting beyond. Art is integral to the interiors, with spaces composed to give each piece the presence it deserves. Open, expansive and connected, the home allows nature, art and interior space to exist in constant dialogue.
